WHY NORTH IDAHO

Maybe you have come to this website after seeing Idaho in a national ranking, heard positive buzz in the business community, or previously vacationed here and enjoyed the lifestyle. Whatever the reason you have found an area that is ready to work with you. Over the last five years, the Coeur d’Alene MSA has been outpacing the nation in growth, growing at a rate of 11.3% versus 3.7%. While growing at an impressive clip North Idaho has not lost our small-town values of integrity, hard work, trustworthiness, and sense of community.

These values extend to our local partners in education, government, and businesses creating a collaborative capital that is unmatched. Beyond working on current regional projects like the I-90 Aerospace Corridor Conference but also continually seeking ways to engage further and share resources for the benefit of all. This is evident in site visits where several mayors and the county commissioners jointly attend to let businesses know that they understand their ‘time to market’ is critical and that all of them will work jointly to ensure the region meets the businesses’ timelines. In partnership with education and the existing business community, local officials answer the needs of businesses with custom programs, streamlined permitting, and ease of access.

Situated along the intersection of I-90 (a major east-west route across the US, linking Seattle to Boston) & US-95 (Links to I-15, creating a north-south route across the western states from Mexico to Canada) North Idaho provides easy access for your logistic needs. While being in a climate that boasts four seasons in a landscape that supports lifestyles as diverse as golfing and skiing.

All of these regional attributes are in a state with low taxes, a balanced budget and a commonsense regulatory environment that allows business to innovate and succeed.
